Any shop that's in business, and can stay in business, especially in todays economy selling and installing aftermarket stuff must be doing something right. I went with LG because they were able to do everything for the lowest price, in the shortest time, and Lou let me leave owing him a big amount of cash. That debt is paid off this week though. If you read this Lou, the check is in the mail. Seriously. Like Moparnos said both shops are good. They just wanted more money for my project, and needed the car a lot longer then LG did. Not to mention all cash due at completion of job.
Just my 2 cents.

they are all good shops. but LG is tooo expensive. i called for a cam install with tuning and it came out to 3k..forget that. MTI has been in the fbody game for a long time. all there cars are just sick looking too. i know HPE has some fast cars too, but dont know much bout them.

As far as this post is concerned.... Although I'm an idiot...Didn’t MTI offer race engines with a warranty???
MTI has Machining equipment in-house as does HPE. If memory serves correct MTI has a more extensive in-house Machining facility, but either way the 2 are reputable businesses. Before all the idiots get on here and start bitching about how this shop has done this wrong to me and that shop screwed me over like that.... There are 2 sides to every story No place can stay in business by screwing over customers...especially in this town where there are MANY choices.
Good luck... I would think that you would be in good hands either way
