Saw a car with a hood scoop coming up behind me when I was going about 40 and I punched it. The front of his car was about even with my rear bumper and stayed there until we got to 120 and I had to left off the gas because there was a traffic light. Could smelll my brake pads lose about a quarter inch.

I was by myself and it looked like he had someone in the passanger seat. Didn't realize these had turbos in them, 0-60 in 5.2 and quarter is 13.9 @ 102. Wasn't able to race him off the line because I had to turn.

Was pretty invigorating, haven't gotten the speedo up that high in awhile.

They're good runs for our cars, I've been wanting to play with one.

I ran against one last week when i was leaving work. We raced for about a good mile and a half. All he was seeing was my tail lights.

just watch out for the modded ones, they can be quick cars with little work.

My daugter's boyfriend has a slightly modified '08 - upgraded to a GT35 turbo and FMIC. If I remember correctly, it ran a 13.2 last year. Not bad given our altitude (~2200 ft) and the extra weight he was carrying with subwoofers...

It surprised me, I thought I would blow it away. I've got the K&N and magnaflow cat back, plus I had the diablo tune in it with premium gas.

Then I looked it up on the net and saw why I didn't get away from him. He was coming up from behind me though so he did get a bit of a jump on me. If we started at the same speed I think I could have taken him.

like every recent turboed car thats come out alil tune and some lovin gets very nice numbers. My friends tuned ss tc with slight mods runs low 13s currently.
