Default Aftermarket Performance Parts Thread

Ok Ladies and Gentlemen. DavidGXP came to me and suggested that we start a library of links and information for the aftermarket parts availiable for the LS4 cars. Hopefully this will cut down on some of the "What can I do for HP?" threads and provide a valuable resource for new and old members alike. So if you have anything to add, post up and we'll add it to the list. After we get to a point where the list seems pretty comprehensive, the thread will we stickied and cleaned up. The main body here is from DavidGXP. Thanks David for the head start.

-Travis

Cams are something that'd be best figured out through an LSx performance shop due to the vast amount of choices. However, if someone would like to put together a list of DoD cams and small cams that have shown good results on 5.3L engines, we can always add them to the list!

I'll work on the links here shortly.

The only DOD cams I have ever found are at New Era Performance Products:

http://www.neweraperformanceparts.co...=E&PKV=dodhi|0
http://www.neweraperformanceparts.co...=E&PKV=dodlo|0

The package includes springs, pushrods, and a few bits and pieces. It's a bit more than the DT headers, but in theory quite a bit more power generated.

Did you get approval to post links to non-sponsor sites or did I miss something?

Talking about and posting links are totally different things...

We only ask that non-sponsors make no attempt to post any form of pricing or contact information (email, phone, website, address, etc...) with intentions to solicit for business.

If you were a real moderator and not an obsequious, sycophantic PMer, you probably would have known that.

Have to read that in context. That's not for average members spreading information, but shops, distributors, and in some cases manufacturers. There is nothing wrong with a thread giving info on what parts are available made by members who have absolutely no connection with the people. The sponsor add policy is not made to hinder the spread of such information. The links are for further reading, not to say "hey buy your **** from here". Now let it die.

Back on topic now, please. We're not cluttering up another thread with this. PM me if you have any questions about the board policy.
