i had a pretty good weekend. i raced a 07 mustang gt from a 30 mph roll and pulled on him. we came to the stop light and he was like what the hell is in that thing. haha

Next one was like a 98 mustang gt or somethin. i was going about 55 mph and i was right behind him. i didnt know who it was until i see my friend is in the passenger seat and he sticks his head out and looks at me lol. This was all done on a 2 way road and i went to pass him and i could hear him get on it but i still flew past him like he was sitting still. The only thing i had over him was he had a passenger and i didnt.

and the route 66 car show was intown.

Its the damn 6spd autos the cars have nowadays.

I was neck and neck with a V6 Camaro, same hp, similar weight, and he pulled a car after I shifted to second and I reeled him in good after that but damn.

A Genesis has the same power we do cookin though a six spd and in a lighter car...sucks!

Our cars are geared way to tall. It's stupid to go through the traps still in second gear. Are there any final drives steeper than 3.29?

Would it be worth it for first gear to be completely useless?

You can go 3.69
We got a 2spd power glide, with 2 extra overdrive gears!

Ok Will, I retract my earlier statement. Get that Camaro lol

My guess on why he got you is that you're running headers untuned?

It was from a dig, my car was pulling but I had to slow down.
Yes untune with the headers.
Today I took the cat off.

Depends, the turbo 4's aren't quick stock, but doesn't take too much mods to make 'em pretty quick.

I agree. Everyone hates on the VW 1.8t, but a chip alone drops almost a full second off the 1/4 mile time. The car makers dial back the cars so much because the avg driver doesnt wants smooth acceleration. They don't want to feel turbo lag or the jolt when the boost does kick in. Turbos are the cheapest, easiest cars to mod.

I bet that turbo 4 helps with the power / weight ratio as well....a little
