Need your opinion
Trying to pick out wheels for the GXP, and came across ones that I thought looked pretty good. Had them photoshopped onto the car, and now I'm not quite sure.

lol bigger the better. well until you get about 19. but 17 are up are best for performance. i mean if u ride a bike for example with small *** wheels you will have to do more peddling ( in this case rpm) but if u have bigger wheels u can do less peddling yet cover more area. i would never put anything smaller then 17 on my car. and when looking for cheap rims to autcross with i hardly wanna use 17's but thats all there is.

Weight and slicks. /story Also takes more force to rotate larger wheels, 15s will be faster than 16s, 16s faster than 17s, and so on. That's why a guy I know stopped running me with his 24s on his car, now with the factory 18s he does much better against me, but still slower.

rims look great, really sets off the tinted windows. I'd go at least another inch bigger on the rims though! go too small and you'll look like every other poor kid on the street who's parents bought him the car and all he could afford was 15" rims. just my opinion of course! dont go by what others think, get whichever ones you like best!

All else being equal, bigger rims will give you a better turn-in response, but they will hurt you everywhere else (traction, acceleration, braking, gas mileage, ride quality, etc.)

The more that I look at them, the less I'm feeling them too. I think it's because I've found two other wheel styles that made me say "Yes, those are perfect!", but one is discontinued and the other one isn't available in our bolt pattern........the search continues.

Honestly, I love my 22's on my car. My 18's are every bit better as far as performance is concerned. The only thing that I do not like about them is the steering response is no where near as close. If I were to do it all over again, I would go with 20's and lower the car. Also, if you are in the market for new wheels, I would suggest going to a couple of wheel shops and look at their catalogs. One of my friends owns a wheel shop and that is exactly what I did. I must have looked for 15 or 20 different catalogs before I pointed my 22's out and said that is what I wanted.

Not a fan of those wheels for our car. People running same size tires all the way around on the GXP how you like it? I spend more time with mine in corners than on a drag strip and after owning so many grand prixs i must say this is the best handling combo i have ever had. .9g according to the computer. And I've said it before but 90 degree turns around 55 mph are fun in sticky weather.
