Default Do you guys have a spare tire?

Ive got a 06 GP GXP went to install dynamat in the spare tire hole and ive got an air pump

GXP don't unsure about the SS's. Some guys go to the junk yards and get one from a bonneville or something and use it just in case. Somebody else can chime in if you would rather replace the air pump with an actual spare.

i seen that and literally threw it over my shoulder into the garbage pile. so no spare tire for me lol but if you get yourself a spare from a caddy they come with 17" spare tires.

ss's have spares since they have smaller brakes than the gxp guys.

has anyone with a gxp actually tried to mount one of the donuts off of an ss on a gxp to see if itll clear the brakes?

I figure it's because of the staggered setup. And SS spares are too small for GXP use.

how tight is the fit? it wont clear at all?

If it's a 16 it won't clear at all. The back maybe iffy.

yea the 16'' spare won't fit the rear either i have tired it once
