Flipped and wrecked the car....fun while it lasted im going through some really tough **** at college right now between class and fraternity stuff and to top it off i just wrecked the impala. literally fell asleep driving down a 2 lane road, drove up the side of the road, hit a tree, and flipped the car onto the roof into oncoming traffic. i walked away from the crash with literally one bruise. if i have to say anything i love that car even more now since it saved my life. wish it didnt happen but what can i do. i just wanted to thank everyone for answering all my questions and helping when they could, i really learned alot about cars in general from this forum. no clue what the new car is gunna be, hopefully something fast.

i am sure glad you did not hurt or kill anyone else ! everyone has to responsible for their own actions ! its not ok for anyone to hurt or kill somebody in a accident /bc of a bad day ! its not my opinion, its the law ! rkvette

whatever u get next invest in a roll cage! lol glad to hear your ok and your not the only one who has done it, i wrecked my z28 doing 140 mph about 8 yrs ago and im very fortunate to be alive today, needless to say i did also walk away from the crash and i realized then and there just how dangerous vehicles can be, play safe!

i know what you went threw i had it happen to me 3 year ago while folowing a freind home you have to know yourself and your limits im glad to hear you walked a way from it as did i . i hope you learned from it nothing is more important than a life be yours or someone elses just my .02

guys/gals did you remember how safe our 2008 ss v8's and newer are ! 5 stars for front and passenger ! 5 stars for side crash/ front seats ! rollover 4 stars ! if you add in 2008 and newer stabilitrak-stability control [it has saved me at least twice] ! -- xxmerc1914xx- glad your ok !! if you had newer model maybe not have crashed, at all ? so maybe our ls4 chevys are not to bad a impala ,at least safety wise ? might be safest impala so far ? now if gm can come back and replace our bad trannys /no charge, with a 6 speed auto ? dont think thats going to happen ! rkvette
