So I was buying my favorite summer time beer (Sam Adams Summer Ale) for the 4th of July at the gas station the other day and as I walk out I see this fugly Barney truck at the pump. Upon closer inspection I realized it was a Chevy S-10...slammed, bagged, chopped and rocking a 5th gen. Camaro front end with no hood To each his own I guess

Doesn't look like it's even close to being finished. I wonder if it has an LSx in it. I think it's a cool project. Would like to see it when finished. Kinda like a smaller el Camino.

Trust me, it looked like that was as good as it was going to get lol. And it definitely did not have an LS engine in it. I heard it on start up and it sounded like an extremely tired 4.3 V6 without mufflers. I guess IF he had a decent paint job, nice wheels, hood and mufflers it wouldn't be as bad. This was NOT tastefully done. Oh and you didn't get to see the collection of stickers on his rear window, which was a nice touch

I think its pretty neat idea, maybe he plans a lsx swap turbo on 20#s, four linked rear an a pretty badass paint job, be pretty neat

Yeah I definitely agree that there is some potential for it to be a decent little project. But the picture does not do enough justice as to how bad it looked in its current state. It needs a ton of work for it to look good. The execution on the chop top was terrible, it just didn't look right. I'd love to run into him again so I can ask him what he plans to do to it.

mngxp...good call on the mullet! Totally forgot about that part. It's more like a mullet in training though. Not quite full mullet status yet
