Default couple night time shots of the lights

got bored last night so i took some pictures of the car
I re-painted the taillights a couple weeks ago to make them darker but did a little customizing so that there is still plenty of light comming through. The license plate is lite up by leds (very bright)

cant really tell in this picture but i tinted the front blinkers and painted eyelids (no more of the "scratches" on the top and ugly orange reflectors)

Wait. Hold on a second. The scratches on the top of my headlights aren't little tiny cracks that expand when the headlights get hot?

...

I want to know if your paint on the top of the lights still looks good in a few months. I'm pissed at how the top of my lights look.

i used around 5 coats of dupli clear
i think it has glue holding it together, but there's no need for taking it apart just tape it off.

I was thinking of tinting the orange reflectors but don't really want to deal with the glue

Thanks. I bought the "fatman" since it has an extra row of lights.

Headliners are notoriously fragile. I'd recommend just ordering a black one from stockinteriors or somewhere else in the color you want. I got the headliner in the Z28 wet with a sponge trying to clean it and the sucker sagged and nothing can fix it.

The "Fatman" does not fit. Time to purchase the "Fatboys."

*sigh*

That extra row of lights made it too long? You can probably fit them in the interior dome lights

Apparently.

Their website states that both have the same dimensions. The "Fatman" is a good 32mm in length. Not to mention that the picture on their website is different from what I received:

There are differences in LED spacing and a plastic base versus a PCB base [which doesn't fully seat inside the OEM socket due to the way it's cut].

I'm gonna return them and go with the "Fatboy."

The "fatboy" is going to have the same base as the one in the pic and that "fatman" looks A LOT longer then the "fatboy" so it should fit. They may look low quality but i have had mine for about a year now and every led still works plus they are cheap as hell.
