Do all LS4 cars have the same emmisions equip I am trying to get my LS4 swaped Fiero certified in CA and the smog ref said I can not use a federal PCM in CA? Did GM make CA and federal cars?

california has stricter guide lines for the emissions control system the emission controls will be different, and sometimes the cylinder heads also...

From a hardware standpoint, I'm fairly certain the CA cars are no different than the 49-state cars.
Lew can probably vouch for this, but I believe the only difference is the PCM calibration.
