LS1 in an 05 Impala SS?
I am totally new to the Chevrolet world.
I have owned many cars.. 64.5 Mustang to a 05 Civic Si, IS300, 325i and a few boosted/swapped Hondas. I now own a 2005 Impala SS, what engine swaps can be put into this car?
Just curious, any help would be awesome.
Thanks!

Not that the 409 monte carlo isn't sick, but for the money spent on that, that guy could have easily bought a z06.
If you want THAT much more out of your LS4 (to the point you are pondering an engine swap), the most economical options are the turbo kit, or just buying a different car.

LOL! Just realized the year of the Impala is 2005. The LS4 should fit in there. It was done with a Monte Carlo and they are VERY similar in the engine department.

Good luck with whatever route you choose.
