Advice Wanted...
Merry Christmas everyone; Thanks for reading.I have a ls4 with 35,000 miles that i am building, plan on mating to a f40 6 speed in a fiero. So far, i have a set of fully ported 243 gto heads shaved 012 (63.5)with oversize ss valves,650 lift pac springs,an ls6 intake w tb,injectors complete harness from a zo6, lingenfelter dod delete kit with 3 bolt cam conversion,ls7 lifters and katech hp chain and aem intake. I am probably going with a custom grind cam, maybe lt custom headers. I am thinking about dropping the compression with a set of forged pistons, changing bearings and adding a turbo with about 7 psi. If i do this i think i can use the stock exhaust, fab an adapter for the turbocharger, match cam, but i will need larger injectors.Or Either shaving the heads a little more, bumping the compression up,match cam accordingly, add ltubes, use everything i have with stock bottom end, maybe nos. I am porting the tb,intake and polishing the exhaust side either way. I would like my build to be cost effective, use pump gas and have some street manners/reliability. What do you guys think? I am completely open to other ideas. Greatly appreciate the advice as I can't decide.

Thank's,for the reply, that is what i would really like to do,but finding a set of 3.78 low compression pistons seems impossible.I think the crank is strong enough,i am not sure about the rods, but i think im at the limit with the stock pistons.

There's plenty of people running 7 psi on stock bottom end without issues, Id say the real issue is mating the trans, but there should be tons of people on the fiero boards to figure that part out.
RWD right?

Honestly turbo seems like a winner but i am terrified of pre detonation, without it i will use longtubes.I am curious of the strength of the stock ls4 pistons and rods, because i will bump up the cr.I am going to balance the crank,pistons/rods either way, thinking about boring to std ls1 just for forged pistons.I see some are using 4.8 pistons to increase compression, but if the stock piston/rods will handle 10.5 it would be a waste of money.I wanted to get around 500 to the wheels, but i am more concerned with reliability at this point.
