Default First couple things out of the 3d printer

Wanted some interior door handles that will use straps in the 70 firebird thought it would make a decent first test. they weigh about an ounce each. ill keep you guys updated gotta find something to make for the gxp!

Again the problem there is heat melting point of the PLA is about 440 degrees

im thinking a backlit arrowhead bumper emblem would be pretty sweet

ill get on that when I have a few days to have the car apart without the GF knowing about it. the firebird is in pieces she is nice about that don't want to push my luck with two partial cars

ps has anybody else noticed how all the divorce books at barnes and noble are on the shelf directly below the auto motorcycle section?

Also im in the process of getting some 3d scanning up and running effectively might save some time when it comes to fitting parts.

so I am doing some research on tracking targets that will make the computers work a bit easier and more accurate along with a rig for stabilizing and positioning the camera.

I believe that only works with machines that print ABS plastic I don't Plan on trying. sounds like a good way to get into trouble and or end up with plastic shards in my face.
