Default 2008 Buick LaCrosse super

It doesn't have any mods (yet ) but here's my 2008 super it has 146k on engine and brand new tranny. It isn't on the road yet due to the usual ls4 issues but it should be all fixed up soon

The oil pressure sensor and knock sensors, evap purge solenoid. And on top of that my a/c doesn't work but that seems to be just a GM common issue

No idea those were problematic on ls4's, but I'll take your word for it. Learned something today.

No one told me about it, it just looked like a common problem for these but i was far from trying to educate you guys. Just showing off my super since I haven't seen many on here and it's finally picture worthy (was sitting on jack stands without wheels for a while). Thanks for the positive feedback guys.

Never seen those things as endemic problems, either.

IMHO, usual LS4/W-body issues are:

Trans (obvious)
Wheel hub assemblies
Struts
Intermediate steering shafts
Ventilation system air door actuators
Water pumps (if you buy cheap Chinese replacements)
Oil consumption (not a part, but still a problem area)

I'm sure I've missed a few things, but these are the real common ones.

Like the black wheels to match the body! Here's mine with powder coated wheels, lowered, chrome delete, and blackened grills. A few performance mods too.

wow, i kinda like those. I don't think ive ever really looked at one till now. I might try to pick one up. I try to stick with cars with the same power plants and drive trains im already familiar with, which is why i have 3 Cadillac eldorado's lol.

Dude, I'm a fan of your ride. I looked a couple of these the other day and in stock form, I found them the least appealing of the LS4 cars, but with the styling accents you have on yours, this baby really looks good!
