This is why you don't put exhaust on a 6 Ran across this during an internet search. . . . this is the reason that you don't put exhaust on a 6 cylinder. . . sounds awful!!

thats about a shitty video to go off for sound though. You can make a 6 sound good. A local guy had a 6cyl. Camaro his mom had made him get instead of the V8. He modded it & had exhaust on it. It sounded almost as mean as some mild LS1's I have heard. You just gotta go about it in the right way.

I would agree with you there. . . . some six's sounds excellent (i.e. the 350Z and it's brother Infiniti). This is the only video I have found, and why it isn't the best quality it does display what i hear out of most "untuned" 6s.
