Last runs N/A 12's almost....
I took the monte out to the dragstrip today for the last time more than likely before the turbo kit goes in. I also picked up some Hoosier Quick Time Pro's 26x9.5x16" drag radials and put them on some mustang rims I had. Car hooked good. Only problem is I was not able to use the water box at the track due to how they are set up, cars back into the water box. So I attempted to do burnouts, but the tires gripped so good are were not wet, that I could not get the car to break loose to heat them up.
I think maybe torque management was kicking in. I would hammer it with traction control off at the line and the car would nose dive. I was able to do a burn out on the street, but the track must have been sticky in the burn out area preventing me from getting loose. I ran the tires at around 26 pounds.
Okay, so my best run today was a 13.007 @ 107.82 with a 1.935 60 foot. Other runs were in the 13.07 - 13.1x range. Maybe with some better tire heat, I could have pulled off the 12.9 and I was extremely close, although I didn't feel any tire spin at all. I should have tore out the front and rear seat and could have got it, but wanted to do it full weight. Oh, the drag radials took a little more than 2/10ths off my et vs. street tires.
So 13.007 it is, must be the quickest N/A LS4 I'm guessing. Recipe in sig....

Nice work man! Im going to the track as soon as i get these pushrods. Gonna see if i can get the slicks mounted up this week and see how far i can get this thing.
As for your nose dive, the diff score was prolly working (one wheel spinning faster than the other, keeps it from blowing up the differential)
