70 bucks!? i got mine from the WS6 store IIRC for like 36 bucks. came to 46 with shipping.

and for the hp gains i'd say its a decent deal. i mean where else can you get HP for $10 per 1HP?

not even a blower or turbo offers those types of $/HP gains.

If you plan on upgrading the TB any time soon dont waste your money!
If you plan on keeping the stocker then its worth it! IMO

above 4000rpms its supposed to give gains of up to 5hp. which is decent if you ask me for under 50 bucks.

people pay 5000 for supercharger kits that only gain them 100hp so i'd say the 5hp for 50bucks is a steal.

Definitely worth it even if it only gains 3 or so hp. Definitely don't spend $70 on one though, they can be had for much cheaper.

I've got one for sale! Its the kind that sits in the elbow, it does not bolt to the throttle body.

heh I've never seen a elbow type either.

You can get a ported stocker TB, either 52 or 54mm (don't need intake porting), and they come with an air foil. Last time I saw them on there, they were around $150-190. So here's my advice: Get the whole thing now, or just wait till you're ready for the TB and then buy the whole thing.

Do the TB coolant bypass mod if you haven't, that's 10x cheaper (in 92-93s case, free heh) and helps every bit as much, or more.

Yea but the 5hp is above 4k. A supercharger offers power constantly.

I don't think you will see the gains of a foil for most applications but that just me....ymmv.

I agree w/ Formula 350.Save your money and get the whole t/b in 52mm,or 58mm.We had the airfoil on a '97 firebird, and didn't notice ANY improvement at all!!.Waste of money IMHO.

You can have the stocker ported to 52mm and buy the airfoil cheaper than a 52MM costs
