Default nitto tire question

this winter im doin a stroker motor and after i no that theres no way a regular street tire will hook on the street at all. so will a set of the nt555r's be good for just street use and allow me to hit the gas pretty hard on the street?

yep! I have 315/35/17 Nittos at 18psi with a good burn out they hook great 0 spin! On the street I run about 25 psi and it light years better than my F1s. They wear much better than the BFGs or MTs also. MTs do hook up better though

I prefer the nittos then they last the longest, handle the best, are good in the rain and hook good too.

I have 275s up front and the 315 nittos are much wider. but they do run thinner than the comps 315s
I would say 15,000 is about right if you dont beat on them.

yea i run 555R's on the street and i used to burn out pretty bad between the 1-2 shift and now it just grips and goes! and they drive surprisingly better in the rain than most people said they would.

I've been running them for years and they've been great! 15K sounds about right with no beatings. My brother got 12K out of his with a couple track rentals on them. I've had no problems in the rain with them either.

You have the 315's on the stock WS6 rims out back right? I know they run small so I was looking at getting the 315's for my rears just concerned that they are a little too wide for that rim. Have any pics?

I have the 245/50/16 Nittos on my car and they hook well at the track and on the street. I have gone through a couple sets of them and I get about 15k miles out of them mixed street/strip.

Well the are on SS rims but its the samething. They DO NOT RUB ANYWHERE.
I have hit on/off ramps hard, drivin 200 miles on the hwy and used them at the track. They dont rub anywhere.
Ill try and get some pics

That'd be great bro I'd like to see how they look before I go and buy them.
