Default What bore size for head gasket?

I've looked and looked, and I can't seem to find an answer. I need to replace my head gaskets, and I want to go with the Felpro 1074 with the 0.039" thickness- but I read that the 1074's have 4.125" bores. As far as I know, my cylinders should be 4". Would the Felpro 1074's work with the stock cylinder bore?

Yes that would work fine...I suggest running the MLS gaskets. There is an MLS that comes in a 4.040 bore.

Nervous! Heads are coming off tomorrow, never even taken the valve covers off before. I think i'll be alright, i'll take my time and organize/label everything. Wish me luck, i'll come running on here if I get stuck.

I'm in the same situation you are, never taken a motor apart before and just tonight finished up taking the heads off to fix a blown head gasket. Make sure you got alot of baggies and a sharpie to label lol.
