Default freescan?

I am trying to load freescan on my laptop and a window pops up saying it is loading the setup wizard, but the wizard never pops up. A blank window does pop up that says andys name at the top but it says not responding when clicked on. Im running windows xp. Any body have this problem? Know of a fix?

I'm using it with XP, no problems. Wish I had some advice, I downloaded it from his site and it installed just fine. Maybe the download file wasn't complete or something strange?

im not too sure, but i would disable the pop-up blocker on your computer. I have a similar result if I try to pull up a window that is a pop-up. If that doesnt work I would try to re-download the file

Thanks for the ideas. Ive tried turning off the popup blocker and all of my security system with no results. I downloaded it form two sources a few different times. I guess its probably something in my comp.

Its a data logger similar to datamaster.

I mostly sure it doesn't work with OBD-II.

Well freescan is free, so just download it and try it out.

One trick to get it to work is have it listen, after it reaches 10,000 on the counter hit interact, seems to work fine for me. Autoparts stores around here don't have a OBD-I reader, so I mostly use it to pull trouble codes.

Freescan is free, yes, but so is datamaster for 20 sessions. I personally like datamaster, but my free sessions have expired, so now it's time to downgrade

I don't know about freescan, but I can say that Datamaster will work, because I have it loaded on my desktop so that I can review my runs.

good to know. Thanks

Do you keep your laptop in your car and review runs? Or do you have some sort of palm pilot instead?

My laptop is a work issued computer, so It's in the car a limited amount of time. I usually just collect some data on my way home, save it, then load it on my desktop to review the data.
