Default 02 sensors bad already?

long story short i had a misfiresometimes found out it was the 02's, replaced them and the car ran perfect for 5 days now its back to the misfires but not all the time... im stumped

what kind of o2 sensors did you replace them with?

do a search and a lot of people have problems with bosch o2's on lt1s idk why but they just dont go together acdelco is the only o2 that works with lt1s without problems. Maybe someone else will chime in to give a explination why bosch is bad

oh and i did wash my car right before is started acting up and missing...do you think that has anything to do with it

i dont see how washing your car would ruin anything unless you sprayed the opti.

Have someone plug up a scanner to your car, and see what the O2's are reading. If they seem to be working fine than maybe it might it could be an opti issue?

yea over the past 2 years i have went through bout 3 sets of o2 sensors. But since i got the actually ac delco, they are still going strong. BOSCH ARE GARBAGE, and so is NTK

ah an on another note, i heard that these other brands don't send signals as fast or accurate as the AC delco... search for it i believe it was mentioned on this forum

The paint, or coating, inside of the headers burns off and plugs your O2's. I just changed mine today and they are disgusting.

OP: Just go to Autozone and have them scan your car. They do it for free and it'll tell you exactly what O2 sensor is bad, or whatever it is causing your SES light.

never heard of the problem with the bosch o2's..ive had them in now for about 20k no problems...buddy just replaced all his stockers with bosch in his 99 ss,,,5k later no problems
