Default Can you re-use a clutch PP?

I have an SLP Clutch KIT in my car now.. 29k miles and it feels like it's at the top of the pedal.. So im assuming it is ready to be replaced(still hasnt slipped tho)...

Do I need to buy a whole new KIT or can I use my PP again since its isnt that old??? And just buy a Disc and bearing?

This is my first 6spd car and obviously my first Clutch swap...

If its not slipping i wouldnt mess with it. I would rather have them grab at the top. Makes for easier shifts, and less missed ones.

My clutch pedal was releasing at the top. I replaced the clutch disc and have my flywheel resurfaced along with resurfacing the PP removing .007" off the top layer. The clutch feels like it engages at the exact same spot it used to. Probably need an adjustable master cylinder

Just like brakes you should always make sure there is as much surface as possible to create friction. If you were to reuse the PP with a new clutch it would not seat properly and eventually (if not instantly) start to slip. When replacing clutch components you should always replace the PP with the clutch and either buy new or resurface the flywheel. I can't count the times I've read of those having clutch problems just after replacing it where the PP or flywheel was no replaced and the clutch was slipping worse than before...
Every clutch I've had on my car (stock, RAM, Mcleod and Spec) all have engaged at the top of the clutch's travel. Just something I've dismissed as normal.
Good luck
