He doesn't show any close-up work on the ports. Honestly, to get a head to flow like that, they would need to be around 210-215cfm, at least. Take that into consideration that these are no longer 190cc's. I wouldn't pay over 600-700 for them.

The cam he ran it with was a Cam Motions 254/262 solid roller with .664/.621 lift with staggered 1.6/1.5rrs. That is a hell of a lot of lift.
Even though I think 550rwhp is a stretch it must have been a beast.
As for the heads question...IMO the only LT1 native head(not a converted SBC) better then hand ported AFRs are BIGGER hand ported AFRs . Without a flow sheet though, I would try to get in touch with the porter like someone suggested. That is a lot of money to spend just on "someone's word" that they are what they claim to be.

550 @ the wheels thru an auto is not that bad but not somthing it would take NASA to do they have 200 in locks and retainers. valves are going to be 300 or so . One thing i did not see is to what cc the chamber. the ones i had back in the day was 76cc so you want be putting them on a small cubic inch unless you want to change pistons are do alot of milling . Ask him for a time slip or a vid of the car. or a flow sheet where his local strip is somone has to have seen the car if it is that fast. Just some stuff to consider.

The HP rating seems a bit outlandish even with that huge cam, and the price seems a bit suspiciously low. Other than that it looks good though. If you can get reasonable assurance that the seller is legit and get a chance to talk to the porter I think it would be a good deal.

If you look closely at the intake ports you can see some serious contouring around the guide area. My AFR's are stamped on the end as to what size cc the chamber is. I'm not sure if the older ones are like this or not.
x2 on the cam he was running. Sounds similar to the one Ben Moore was running.

If its legit its a good deal. Just be careful. If I did buy the heads the first thing I would do when I got them is flow one hole and have them looked over by a machine shop.
550rwhp is a tough nut to crack through an auto This means he make 685 at the crank?????????????.Still pretty high up there for a six speed and a 12 bolt. He would have made 635 at the crank with a six speed.
The only person I know who cracked 550rwhp Is mindgame WAYYYY back in the day with old GM 18* heads and a six speed. He made 570rwhp. I think N2ODave also did it, but he had SB2 heads.
Ask him what the car ran at the track and how much the car weighed, this will give you a much better indication of the cars power.

this off his cam and lifter auction.....
"cam motions custom solid roller I ran in my 1994 lt1 392 stroker motor. The cam is a small base circle for rod clearance. It is 254 262 at .050 on a 112 lobe seperation. lobe lift is .415 intake and .414 exhaust. set up to run 1.6 and 1.5 rocker arms which gives .664 intake and .621 exhaust lift. It was ground for fuel injection and is very drivable and makes decent vacuum for brakes. In my set up the car made 550 rwhp. quick run down is afr ported 190 heads(I have for sale and would make a perfect combo) 58mm tb, hooker long tube 1 3/4 headers 42 lbs injectors, it was 12 to 1 compression. I have the cam sheet I got when it was ground. This cam was at one time a grind in the tpis catologues as the off road generation fuel injection cam the largest grind they had for l98 engines. My car ran 10.40 @ 130 in the quarter and I could drive it every day it was that driveable. I have around 5k on the cam and am going to put a turbo on the car and no longer can use this large of a cam. It was also ground for nitrous and should pick up nicely with a 150 or 200 shot. It is a late model nose on it for 1988 and up blocks and the pin is cut short but if you replace it you can run it in a 1995 and up lt1 that drives the distributor. It has a dis gear on it that works with factory stuff. It is a steel camshaft and cost me 300 bucks to have ground. The lifters are comp extreme solid roller lifters that cost me 400 bucks around 5 years ago. Tool steel, not offset matched to the cams base circle. can run this is in any late model roller block l98 or lt1 or vortec styles that use a cam plate to hold the cam in place. I am selling most parts from that motor if you are intreseted in the complete setup. cam and lifters only in this auction."
