Jesus Christ if that's your idle what the hell is your redline!?!?

My bike redlines at 15,500rpm, but it still idles at only 2000 rpm.

It depends on how bad you want it to lope. Probably want it in the 8-900 range.

I asked Madtuner to set it to 900 but the tach indicates 1000. Dunno if he set it at 1000 or the tach is just inaccurate. In any case, it still has a pretty good lope but sounds more like a hotcam then an 847/CC306 type of sound. I'm hoping to get my car dyno tuned in spring and I want it set to 750 or 800

He set mine to 900rpm too. It looks like my gauge is of by 100 at idle and close to 200 when driving !

That's a big cam for only 750. 850-900 would be better plus it'll sound choppier a lil higher, down low it's gonna struggle to idle a just lope.

I think 750 will be fine. I have a MadTuner (Madz28) tune for my CC503 and my idle is set to 750 and it sounds good. The tach does read slightly higher, but that's normal for these cars.

the manners of a gm847 are different from a cc503 but I think that if everything else is working well then I think 750 idle would be possible.

This I know this. I sometimes wish my idle was a little lower, so that I have a little more lope. But I could always just get a lopier cam, lol.
