I noticed a SOTP difference and smoother idle, no track or dyno runs so.. he can do it pretty quick but I'd still put down a deposit and have him send you a pre-loaded pcm then send yours back after wards.

i received my new PCM in 3 days i paid the core charge cause i did not want down time. as far as the gains prior to tune(numbers may seem low due to my DA)never lower than 3000' ,mph shows the power.
running stock 14.4@99 on 18" radials
Lts,4.10s, 13.8@104.5 on 19" radials
added 1.6rr and tune 13.35@105.2 on 17" DRs bye bye clutch no doubt the last pass would have seen a 12.9-13.00
Very pleased with MADTUNER

I was about to order one from him in the next few days. Curious to know how everyone feels.

Mine took about 5 days, that was sending him mine & return time, well worth it, i noticed a smoother idle, hard to tell track times, because he tuned it for Nitrous, so it pulls timing WOT, plus it is set on the factory timing also, so i'm looseing about 18 rwhp on this tune, but the car feels stronger NA then it did, so props too Ion @ Madtuner.

You should get the power tune then add a MSD digital 6 to retard the timing so you have the power back when N20 is not in use..

Love the tune. SOTP was very impressive. Huge difference. No dyno or track times. He is a great guy and helped me through some issues I was having at that time.

Glad I went with him!

I got mine in about 2 days. But, that's because I'm only about a couple hours away from where he's based out of. I've never really been completely satisfied with the tune. The car's still running entirely too rich. You can see black smoke when I'm at WOT. I've considered just being fine with it, until I get my 1.7RR's on, then getting a retune from him. Or, I may just have a local guy datalogue my car, and we'll see how everything's running on it, and maybe have him tune it for me. I'm still a little unsure of what I want to do.

I've thought about that too, but the fuel tables are diff. on a N2o tune vs. the perf. tune, plus i really don't hammer on it NA, IMO its just a whole lot more fun on the Juice , so i'll live with the lost HP NA, i'm sure the car is dropping a solid 1.3 tenths & over 10 MPH on a 100 shot, good enough for me.

My car does run rich. But for mail order tuning he has got to make a tune that will work for everyone and not blow up the car that happens to run extra lean.

Ive had 5 tunes from him and all have been great. I run 125 rwhp shot of nitrous as well as many bolt ons and 3300 stall. He has always been fast (within a few days) and his customer service has been great in that he has answered all of my questions.

tune cameout great... questions were all anwsered willingly and helpfully... great guy to deal with... just be certain to be specific in what u want done... hes got a lot of cars to tune.. i forgot to tell him to eliminate my lockup in my converter in 3rd gear at 100mph... so now everytime i raced the converter would lock up and slow me down at about 1000ft.... i ended up unplugging the connector on the brake switch (brake lights just stay on) and doing so i broke it... so now im in a big PITA... not his fault really, but i kinda wish he took off the lockup in 3rd gear but watev... i still got to e-mail him or call him and see if he will take it back just to take the lock up off for free or what....

I've used Ion(MadZ) from initial mail order tune to full dyno tuning and updates here and there for the last few years now. And each and everytime, the tuning is at its optimum. He will always be my tuner. He's always there to answer any tuning question if you ever have any. Great guy. And I will be calling him again soon with my new set up.
