Professional Products, looking for a 58mmTB and ran across this product. I'm always leary of such a big price change from their competitors. they are going for $220 new online.

anyone have good or bad luck with them?

Professional Products is chinese Edebrock knockoff stuff. Believe the story is a disgruntled Edelbrock engineer started it and has everything made overseas.

I have the PP 52mm TB on my '97 SS, it works fine for me, good price too. Sometimes when my car is cold I get what feels like a sticky TB, but it goes away in less than a min.

Thats what I'm running. the 58mm. I haven't had any problems except the bolts backing out. Maybe you should put a dab of loctite on them lol.

I highly recommend them. I sold a Prof. Products 52MM TB to a member here and he said it has worked great for him. I bought a $400 Holley which worked like garbage so replaced it with the Prof. Products 58MM TB and it has worked perfect. For the price it's the best TB IMO.

If you want the link shoot me a PM because I know a place that has the polished 58MM for under $200 new.

All of their LT1 TB's or just the 58mm? You could always get a 52mm from them.

i have a 58.. works great!! only drawback is that you have to use their tb plate. its not interchangable cuz the bolt pattern is different.

Maybe hes talking about the plate on top of the throttle body? Some ppl get the aftermarket ones that say SS Z28... on them.
