Default Anyone that has done the fuel line relocation mod come in

So i just decided to relocate my fuel lines and didnt want to make a loop in the wheel well considering i dont have the plastic pieces. I also didnt want to cut and fit my lines just incase of that error and i would have to buy new ones.
So what i did is i relocated mine through the wiper cowl since there was already a gap between the cowl and the body. Then looped it over the side of the cowl and then behind the brake booster and then to where the fuel rail is.
Has anyone done it this way and if so has there been any problems doing it this way?

not sure but it didnt put any drastic bends in mine and it doesnt have any loops in it and it almost puts it in the perfect place to hook up the fuel lines from what i can tell. The engine is in pieces right now.

this was when i first put the lines through

Then i put the plastic loom back over the fuel lines and pulled it through. The other line is the evap line which i will be no longer using. I just havent pulled it out yet.

the only thing that i see that i will have to do is trim the cowl cover to allow the fuel lines to go there.

I like it.

You may need to add a little length to them, and I would wrap them at any juncture where they may touch/chafe on the cowl. Or use a neoprene cable clamp secured by a self tapper to route it where you want and also prevent it from moving around / chafing.

Should work though. Might have to try it this way when I do mine. I will be tidying up the engine bay quite a bit while the engine is out.

this just started as a cap and rotor replacement and decided to do a cam and valvetrain upgrade. then head gaskets, appearance modifications and so on. I also relocated the wiring harness that was on the passenger side wheel shock tower as well as relocating the hood latch cable. It looks 100X better than it did from the factory

and that loop of wires sitting on the passenger side shock tower is for my MSD 6AL. The wires are normally attached to the shock tower brace but i had to remove all of that to do my cam swap.

i spent about 3hrs today trying to relocate my fuel lines today the "traditional" way (behind the brake booster), but i could not seem to get the lines to sit in a way that would not kink them when connected to the fuel rail. The length is fine, i just cant seem to get the angle. Any suggestions? Thanks guys

i also think before i put it back on the road i am going to be removing ABS. that thing is a big eye sore when you open up the hood and see everything else relocated and then there is a big manifold sitting there in the middle of no where.

I'm not sure since i didn't do it that way. The only thing on mine is the connectors are upside down on mine. But if you do a search on it, since the search is now working right, there are plenty of right up on this mod in which i know they go into great detail on this.
