Default ac lines hit headers...

Has anyone had trouble with the ac lines hitting pacesetter longtubes? Mine dont fit at all, the bend that goes up fron the back of the pump and does a 180 degree turn hits the header.

I had trouble with mine hitting the header also,I took the lines off and used a tubing bender to bend the line. Just be careful not to crimp or break the line.

Mine hit. I placed a 2 by 4 on the line, then hit it with a hammer.

Well i NEVER use the ac. But when you have a girl with you sometimes they dont want the wind blowing their hair around. I wouldent worry about it if it wasent for that.......and i have black leather so interstate driving is kinda hot without it.....and black paint. This car does see the occasional road trip and 80mph with the windows down kinda blows after 700 miles. So i'll basically have to modoify mine to fit? Nobody makes a line that works with the headers?

interesting, havn't heard this before about the PS LT's. I have PS LT's on my 93 and that A/C tube has about a half inch in between it and the header with no modification. It seems like those tubes changed a time or two over the LT1 lifespan though

I carefully increased the bend in the lines to gain clearance. Mine was touching too but now I've got about a 1/4 inch of clearance. U gotta be real careful or u will kink the line.
