So what does everyone suggest to buy for trans cooler's? I'm running a 3200 vigilanti stall and I'm sure I'm going to need something right? Just wondering what other's have done up for these such as part #'s and what not's, How the install went in, if any one's got pics!

I got the biggest B&M bar & plate style cooler with the built in 8" cooling fan and thermostat then mounted it where the Procharger twin intercoolers go in the right lower front valance.

Generally you want to buy the biggest one you can fit. I went with a B&M Supercooler.

I got rid of all the A/C which makes believe I could run a huge trans cooler in the place of the a/c condensor. Do I tap/T into the stock line that hooks to the stock radiator or bypass the radiator all together. I would think it wouldn't hurt to use both in reality. How should I go about this mod? Is there a so called to big? I noticed they make them for RV's that are way bigger?

Stay with the factory cooler, water works better at cooling than air. put a temp guage on it and watch it.

Normally when installing an aftermarket cooler, you piggyback the stock one, using BOTH coolers.

Would it hurt to have both the stock cooler and an additional cooler???? Cooler would be better I would think

run it from the trans to the stock radiator/trans cooler, then disconnect the out line running back into the trans and hook it up to the trans cooler. Then connect the line coming out of your new trans cooler back to the inlet line going into the tranny.

Good luck and i also installed mine where the a/c condenser used to be installed.

I need to install a trans cooler and am wondering what people are going with, I still have A/C so the lower valance seems like an option but if anyone has part numbers or pictures or maybe a little info on how the install went I would appreciate it.

You will just need to get the tranny cooler, most come with a way to mount, and even with extra line. Then just run your aftermarket cooler with your stock cooler. B&M Supercoolers are very common, because they are very efficient for their Size. They are pretty small, just pick one up and mount somewhere.

JB_97WS6, There are 2 common places to mount it, either on the radiator, and with a supercooler, you might be able to fit with AC.(not sure, i dont have AC Another place, is called the "Dope Style". You mount on your front bumper on the passenger side. I would search Dope Style, i know there is a 'how-to' on it. Hope any of that made sense. Clear as mud?

It was crazt easy to install! I do recommend if you remove the lines from your tranny to seal them bitches some how. I hear there is an O-ring in the hole maybe but I have it to check it out. My tranny is leaking right from the connections on the tranny itself! Hopefully I can get my damn hands in there to fix this **** withoout dropping the trans!
