Running '92 heads
Just bought a pair of low mileage (under 30k) heads from a '92 vette that I plan on doing a budget port and polish with some help from my dremel and cold PBR. Is there any major differences that will change anything from installing these on my '96 block?

I would not go dremelling them because you could make them useless as cores for good porting. Those should be the desirable castings for port work.
There was only one LT1/LT4 block casting so the Vette had the same block your car has.
The intake manifold in 92-3 was different and poses a problem for the 94+ fuel rail setup.

I knew there would be atleast one crack on the PBR! That's mainly getting dirty beer for working out in the garage. I have a few Hoegaardens left in the house to enjoy when I'm not so thuggy!

One of the guys on another Forum (CF) just posted asking how to by-pass coolant to his TB. One response said that the steam tube and TB coolant routing is different on the 96 than on 92-94.
I don't know if that would cause any concern for you since yours, like mine, has 96 routing. Just something to check out so there'll be no surprises.
Hope this helps.
