Default SS Hood Scoop Intake where to buy or an Ultra Z Hood.

Ok I know its not a common part but I have seen a few pictures of the intake that gets its air from the SS Hood's Hood Scoop. Now its not a great ram air setup and I would pref the LS1 style but I am not going to cut the Radiator to fit it and personally I would thik it would be a bit cooler not going through there.

So does anyone know where I can pick this up from?

Or if someone knows of someone selling an Ultra Z hood since they seem to no longer be making them I will take that too.

from what I hear the "SS" intakes actually hurt power over a standard cai due to heatsoak and the amount of bends

Have you considered the Harwood cowl/ram air? It's like the ultra Z but with a cowl too. I'm planning on selling my sunoco to get this hood.

Elliot, RKSport makes one and I think it's like $250. I've heard though that the Suncoast Set up only works with Suncoast hoods and that the RKSport one only works with RKSport hoods. I've also heard that neither aftermarket box will work with a GM SS hood.

None of that makes much sense to me, but maybe there really is that much of a difference in the sizes of the hood scoops.

Can you use the Ram Air box with the Hood Above or only the Ultra Z? That scoop looks further back then the Ultra Z one.

On a side note where did you get your Ultra Z since they seem to not be made anymore.
