Default next best from stock injectors

whats the next best up for lt1 injectors?

30# SVO's or "redtops" are probably the most common upgrade from stock.

Depends on what you mean "next best (step) up." Larger injectors are only a supplemental part; they won't give you more HP by themselves. They only supply more fuel to a motor that demands more (heads, cam, FI, displacement, etc.).

According to your signature (mild bolt-on car) the stockers are PLENTY fine (unless you're doing a build-up of some kind).

things is it wont pass smog and they ve tracked it to an injector so far...havent gone any further to know exactly...i know the stock replacement for one is 183...**** i might as well by the set of 8 from Accel...for 280...what you think bout that..??

Stock injectors are a dime a dozen on the forums. They rarely go bad and can be rebuilt for relatively cheap. I'd just find someone offing a set of good stockers.

Not to mention if you increase the flow rate, you need a custom tune to adjust the injector pulsewidth. Used OEM is the cheapest alternative at this point.

I also heard from a sponsor I trust to avoid the Accels like the plague.
If I were you, I would send your injectors to FIC (also a sponsor) and have them rebuilt. I sent a friend their with his, and he is extremely pleased. You would basically be getting new injectors, with a warranty to boot. And he told me the turn around time was very fast.
