Fuel Pressure Gauge Sending Unit
What fittings do i need to mount the fuel pressure sending unit to my schrader valve?
I attached a small picture of the sending unit. Its the type that comes with the cyberdyne and glowshift gauges.

EAR-998604ERL -4an male to 1/8" female 90 degree
EAR-915104ERL -4an female to -4an female
This is what I used, and it doesn't leak. I used the 90 as there is no way in hell the sending unit should be able to clear the cowl installed directly to the valve.
I am using a Autometer though, maybe the sending unit threads are different on the other brands?

Alot of guys will recc to put an adapter hose on the schrader valve fitting instead of mounting the sending unit directly there as the neck of that fitting/valve is very weak on the fuel rail. Plus the vibrations and heat of the motor are not good on the sending unit. With this setup you can remotely mount it on the firewall or behind the PCM or brakebooster. Look for Enjuneer's post on Camaroz28.com as he has a great writeup on this. Good luck.

Well I'll just say I've had this for about three years setup this way, no issues. I could be wrong on this, but with the fuel flowing there shouldn't it keep it semi-cool? Once again no issues with breaking my fuel rail there, or sending unit problems.
I am interested in this hose idea though as I may have to do a t fitting or something down the road when I spray, perhaps then that would be a lot of weight there..

If you go that route, the easiest would be a 90 degree elbow, female 1/4 NPT to female 1/8 NPT. Or 1/4 f - 1/4 f then a 1/4 m - 1/4 f reducer. Just take the sending unit with you and match it up. Be creative. And I personally found my local Ace Hardware had a better selection of fittings, plus helpful folk to guide you through the maze. The other h/w stores around here don't seem to offer that.
