opti leaking oil WTF ? Help !!!

Default opti leaking oil WTF ? Help !!!

Helped my friend put on a new opti few weeks ago, Now he said it leaking oil from opti WTF. the seals were on the opti when we installed it idk what it could be help please !!!!!!

you checked the seal that goes in timing cover? are you sure its coming from behind the opti ? is it leaking from the water drive shaft seal ? you have to pull it all off to find out exactly where its leaking from

The only place it can leak is the TC seal.

is there some where i can find some better seals ? it was alot easier than i though it would be

i had put a new stock seal in (make sure its in the right way) and then i siliconed around the entire thing

Hey man you need to check the play on the water pump shaft. Its the top one , if you can wiggle it at all theres your problem. You will not get a proper seal if its loose, and its not the seals that are leaking. Make sure you install them right and dont deform the seal when installing it. Like I said check that small top seal and shaft play on timing cover. Good luck

Thanks for the info guys i personally havent looked at it so idk where its leaking from. He said it was coming from the opti
