Knock Sensor help...
I'll say it before you guys have a chance to say it... I AM AN IDIOT!!!
I finally got the scanner to give me an error code (43), knock sensor. So I go to Autozone and pick up a new one. I get home and start taking off the sensor and it wont come off. Long story short... I break off the sensor, leaving the threaded part still on the block. My question is, How do I remove the threaded portion with out causing more damage. ALL ideas welcomed.
Thank you for taking time to help me out.

Update...
ShBox,
Will I be damaging anything if I drill some of the leftover plastic in the coolant area in the engine?
Update: I hit the leftover thread with some PB Blaster last night. I will try and get it out later today. Should I turn the engine on for a bit?
Thanks...

I would remove the partial pipe in block without starting the motor. If you run it now you will be bathed in hot coolant. I would use a cordless drill and have a towel to keep the coolant from all going on you. You will be soaked in it.
REMEMBER cordless drill if you need to drill to get easyout in...and use jack stands. It isn't a hard job prep takes longer than doing it, but you are dead forever if you don't think ahead and jack fails.
Good luck

giving it a try
Great! Thanks for all of your guys input. I will try and remove the leftover stub with vise grips first, if it doesn't work, then I'll use the easyout.

Misfiring
Matt,
It misfires at idle... It also hesitates (bogs) when I get on the pedel. This started happening after I changed the knock sensor. No burnt wires, havent checked the spark plugs. What else can I look for?

How old are the plug wires? Wait until tonight and pop the hood with the car running and look at the plug wires, you may see a spark show. If so just change that wire (or all of them) and it should go away.
