Default Check engine light

I just got long tubes put on my 1993 z28. The 02 sensors are in place but I blocked off the Egr. I drove it for a few days and my check engine light came on tonight . Is this from the egr delete?Or from not running a cat? Will a tune fix this?
Thanks

egr, and not running a cat will both throw codes, chances are it's from both.
and a tune will fix these codes from being thrown if you get them tuned out.

on a 93 and obd1 its very unlikely to throw a code for no cat.

No use in speculating. Flash the trouble codes on the dashboard via the paperclip trick.
