They look like they would greatly improve the drag coefficient. Has anyone tested these in the 1/4 or mile?

They could help, a little. Car would probably benefit more from being lower to the ground. If they gave more the .10 everyone would be running them but then again I am sure not many people have actually tested them. Someone with a consistent time car would have to try it out. I always wondered this myself, maybe your on to something, now we know the LS1 fbody secret!

Actually, Dave DiLuca had those on his 9.20's NX car. So all jokes aside, I am sure a non-flimsy **** box ebay peice is something that might help a car making real power more aerodynamic.

I'm actually more interested in the mile. I'm hoping to run it sometime early next year when I get around to putting in new valve springs.

I think they are more for looks than helping with aerodynamics

I had a set of the GTS headlight covers on my Camaro (mostly for looks/car shows). My car was very consistant and putting these on made absolutely zero change in ET's. The only real problem I had with them (and the reason for me to take them off) was one of them came flying off @ about 112 mph.

my buddy picked up 1 tenth with them on his 3rd gen. granted he was in the 8's and trapping over 150mph. hope that answers your question instead of amusing the overlords....

You will have to build your motor at 3000 miles instead of the traditional 6 to 8000...
