Default fan switch

this is probley a dumb question but i dont feel like messing any thing up is there a write up on a manual fan switch or how can i do one and what do i need to do one ? were is the best place to tap into the wires at ?

i made my own at first. I tied in at the connection point under the hood on the passenger wheel well under the hood. It is only 2 wires to be connected. You would have to run them into the cab and get a double pole double throw switch. Then once you run the two on there just have to run the grounds and so fourth. I had a LED for both the low side as well as the high side that would show none for off, one for low and two for high. I will see if I still have my schematic around for you.

I ended up just removing it a going with the SLP switch that was a plug and play; with ground, under the hood.

EDIT: just saw Rob posted up the same diagram that I had draw up years ago. Lucky for you his looks much nicer that the one I did myself

thanks alot guys that does help and i am going to try and do this before i buy something i also have another thred on here about another problem that i have it is labeled ses light take a look at it and see if u have any in put about it i have heard that the ses light on an obd 1 car takes timieing out and adds full like its in limp mood
