Default Another Guess My E.T. Thread

Well I'm heading to the track tomorrow night, weather permitting, and I wanted to see how good you guys are. Mod's to the car are Pacesetter Lt's, ORY, K&N CIA with smooth elbow, Magnaflow catback, TB Air foil, !EGR, !AIR, untuned, Nitto Drag Radials, free mod's, etc. I also did some weight reduction i.e. spare tire/jack, and rear seat.

Yeah I am pretty desperate to run a good time. Last time with catback alone I ran a 14.23 at 97 with at 2.2 60'. I really want to be impressed this time around. I am heading on a nice cold night and the strip has been paved since my last runs. So tell me what you think it'll run and when I get results I'll post them up tomorrow night! Thanks guys!

So here's what happened. We were all set to leave after I got out of work but they closed the track. Apparently it was raining there but not 15 miles away... Anyway after I threw the wrench I was holding we decided to go on Sunday. So sunday we shall see. Stay tuned!

it sucks to see people on the 14s running under 100 mph, Im running 103 mph and cant get out of 14.3, anyways, if you ran 14.2 with a cat-back only and then added all of that stuff, I want to say 13.3 most likely cuz of the DR's, that's if you didnt had any of those mods before

I dont see that happening. Id say 13.70's @101, thats losing .6 and 4mph.

you really need a stall and gears. a vig 3200 and 3.42's would really help.
Even if you can get a PCM tune in the next wk or so you could drop another 2 tenths with that. You really need a tune with your mods. Its only 100 bux

Well I was pleasantly surprised. First run I had a 1.9 60' and trapped a 13.24 at 103.5 mph. Second run I noticed that it was breaking up on top of second, and trapped a 13.4 at 102 mph. I ended up running a 13.4X 2 more times, each time with it breaking up in the higher RPMs in 2nd gear. I was pretty surprised and very very happy with the outcome, however.

When I was warming up the tires in the second run I also noticed that both would start spinning then just one would continue to. One tire fire. Dumb question, is my posi shot? Regardless I hooked amazing. Also what would be some reasons for it breaking up on top?

I'm sorry, it was for you. I meant with the 103 trap speed you should run high 12's but you would need to cut a mid 1.7x 60', atleast that's how it works for me anyway.
