Exclamation gutted cat?

im building a 355 with heads and cam i am going to run lts and a diffrent y pipe once i get more money. but for now i have to go with stock manifolds and i have loudmouth cat back on it an i was thinking about gutting the cat but am not sure how it will sound with the manifolds what do you think?

no but once i get headers and a new y its not going to have a cat anyway

Then I would say wait for the headers and Y do it all at once. You won't appreciate your build as with stock manifolds then with the headers I would wait....... Thats what I have done is got all the Bolt ons on my motor now and will just transfer them over to the 355

I agree with the waiting part.. I went from mid-length headers and a Random Tech y-pipe.. To current set up of long tubes and the ORY.. I love it now..

This way your still good if someone does a visual inspection on your car, plus you can use now and after with LTs.

i figured i might as well wait and those are a good idea as long as i can make one fit into the y pipe i will be golden
