Wicked94Z first track outing....
Got 4 passes in at the local 1/8 mile, these are my first passes with this new combo and overall I'm pretty pleased. I feel I have alot of improvements to make in this setup, both parts wise and tuning wise
Conservative tune, still 28* timing, IATs 115-120, A/F all over the place due to some datalogging issues my first 2 passes. Stock sway bar (no airbag), all stock front suspension, stock brakes all around, no SFC, no cage.
I didn't expect the 1.45 on the 3rd pass, and accidentally grabbed 2 gears in my panic that's why the brake lights, I thought I'd broken my shifter. Wish I hadn't fuxxed with the shock settings on the 4th pass!

thanks guys, yea I have a BMR drag bar sitting in the garage along with a 10pt cage kit from SOS.
I left at 4k on the last pass, I just think it's too much for my flexing chassis. The 1.45 was on a 3500 leave. ET Streets were at ~12.5 PSI on both passes, no tubes and they're getting crunched pretty good.
7.01 was the best of the night, i didn't run a full 1/8 on any of my passes until the last one. The MPH actually disappoints me a little, I can feel the car going flat after the launch. Just needs more datalogging and tweaking. Fontana tomorrow, I can run the full 1/8 there since it's a 1/4 mile track.

Let me know how (crowded) Fontana is...hopefully there will be some track prep for you.

I like Irwindale. They prep decently and have good air.
I hope to make it up there with the Mustang in Jan/Feb.
Those times should pick up a ton. Get some passes and tweaking done and it will be a big difference. Mine went from 92-98mph in about 20-40 passes of tweaking, tuning, and changes.
