Default Help me choose my next mod?

My current mods are in Sig.

I need help deciding between...

-Shift Kit

-PCMforless tune... ( Can they recalibrate for 4.10's, tune to pass emissions)

-LCA's/Relocation brackets.

In my opinion get the shift kit for sure. Enjoy sending the car sideways in the second gear shift lol.

PCM for less can do all of that no problem, just send them a message with your payment telling them what you all want done.

I have not installed LCAs on my car yet so I couldn't tell you anything about those.

A shift kit is really worth it, huh?

Id say tune and get those gears out of there. You are blowing by your powerband. Saw your reply in the other thread. If you must keep the 4.10s I'd honestly recommend a 4000 stall. A 3600 will feel a little loose with those gears. And yes they are fine in the rain as long as they have tread in them.

Pretty sure with a tune as well you can get the pressures in the Tranny moved up might not be as quite as good as a shift kit but will shift a lil bit harder

So get a tune....

For power gains.

Emissions reasons.

Recalibrating for gears.

Bumping up shift pressures, to shift harder.

Seems like a good deal.

I'm going with Ion/madtuner over pcmforless. They seem to have a much better track record and have had many instances where the mail order tune could only be slightly improved or not improved at all on a dyno. Pcmforless seems to have a ton of bad/mixed reviews.

You can get a firmer shift with a tune but raising the line pressure i have found not to be a good idea. Use a shift kit for the trans

I'm gonna say LCAs and reloc brackets FTW! Helps cut those 60s for sure, I could totally tell a difference when I install them on my Z.

Considering that shift kits are usually really cheap, why not go with both a tune and a shift kit? Saves you the trouble of choosing
