Default Willl this cause a no start?

Driving through a parking lot at slow speed, make a turn, car just dies; no warning, no fanfare. Get the car home and notice that the AIR is basically just hanging there, the bushings that held the rubber hose in place must've just given way. Everything else on the car is good, getting spark, fuel, etc.; will this in and of itself cause a no start? BTW, it didn't throw any codes; fuel pump, FPR, opti, ICM, and coil are all less than 6 months old.

Thanks in advance.

I don't think it would cause a no-start issue, but could cause it to run like crap.
Deleting air/egr is your friend.

Just because the SES light isn't on doesn't mean you don't have codes. Many codes (like the dreaded DTC 16) don't set the SES light. Have it scanned.

I'm having a hard time picturing what happened with your AIR pump. Did it completely come off? If it did, it probably pulled the wiring for the coil/ICM.

Thanks for the input, I'll have some time today and will be taking a look at it more in depth.

i know you said it was getting fuel but how did you prove it? pressure gauge? pulled an injector and watched it spray? im just going to throw it out there. were you really low on fuel when you took that turn? don't take offense i have just seen it happen too many times to not say something.

As I mentioned, I had some time today to get into it more in-depth; got it scanned and it had thrown a code, DTC 16; this opti lasted me 3 months. All the wiring checked out fine, time to fight with my mechanic and remind him I got the lifetime opti.
