wiring mallory 685 box?
Mallory doesnt offer an adaptor harness for their box to go with the lt1 harness. I dont want to hardwire it in, but I will if I have to.
I've heard of people using the msd harness it it works just fine, is this true? and on have any expierience with this?

Yes, works like a charm. You need the correct harness for your year (single or double connector), then match the wires up with the mallory plug (2 are different colors) and you're good to go.
Then you just run a 12V supply to the box (NOT one that loses power when cranking...), ground, and you're offto the races.
To use the 2 step you supply 12V to a certain wire. Orange I think.
To use the window switch you use it to close the ground on your solenoids.
High speed timing retard ia also a 12V I believe. Was triggered by my arm switch, so when I armed the kit, the timing was pulled.
Don't remember all the wire colors off the top of nut head but you can find it all w google. There'd a Mallory user manual that tells you what all the colors do, and many posts on the MSD harness to Mallory wire colors for the coil connector.
