Default Went to the track

Ran a best of 12.92 @109. 2.1 60' with the clutch slipping pretty bad. Ran a total of 8 runs, 3 12.9s the rest were 13's :/ including a 13.000 . Couldn't get the car outta the whole very well. It would either spin the tires or the clutch.

Heres the 12.9 video and you can hear how bad the clutch slips off the line and with each shift. This was my second pass of the day.

Here was my first pass of the day which is quite embarrassing . In this video you can hear what it sound like when the clutch grabs.

Overall I had fun and hit my goal of 12.xxx. I still wish I could've gotten a better time though. With those 60' times and the clutch slipping that bad I know it has at least a mid 12 in it.

Congrats on the 12 sec slip, whats the elevation at that track? What are the specs on the LE cam? I'm wanting to hit up KC when I get my engine back together. Havn't had mine down the 1/4 since Scribner closed.

Your car looks bad *** by the way, very nice LT1 4th gen. What tires you have out back?

EDIT: nevermind, you posted the specs while I was typing.

not bad considering how bad your clutch is slipping.

Its definetly got more in it, what was the DA? My car at fullweight ran 12.2 with just the hot cam at 109mph. Get in some good air, new clutch and more tire outback I think you could see 11.9s.

Nice runs! I think you should be alot faster than that though with a cammed car. Is the clutch killin it?

That's what I was thinking. Im guessing it was a combo of the clutch/60'/weather.

go to dragtimes.com go to tools, DA calculator select your track and time of day it should correct your times to give you an idea what it would run in good air and also give you a da.

fix the clutch and get it goin! Keep in mind figure every .1 off your 60' almost 2 tenths. Get down to a 1.7-1.8 you should see 12.0-12.2 fix the clutch issue work on the 60' (maybe get a set of 16's and put an et street bias ply tire on it) I dont see a problem getting in that range with ease.
