got a kick out of this...
So some of you may know I do locksmith work on the side when I'm not doing my engineering work. So I get a call to go make keys to a 97 trans am. I get to the job and this is what I see
Low miles vert. Well all looked good till I looked inside.
He works at Oreilly and bought all this stick on red carbon fiber crap and screwed in all these fake heat extractor things all over the doors. I think I threw up a little when I saw this.

Not my taste at all but at least he tried something different. Originality is a rare thing on these cars as Im sure most will agree. The carbon/red things are worse than those emblem thingys on the doors imo...

Oh I agree with you, but unfortunately IMO he ruined the doors. The carbon fiber crap can be removed and goo be gone would get rid of the evidence. But some parts are painted red (i.e. the e-brake handle) so those will never look right again, and the doors will always have the holes there.

You guys are just mad he did it first and you all have to take your fake vents back to AZ. LMFAO
I hope no one else get a great idea out there to do this to there car, those vents suck on the outside AND even more on the inside. The carbon fiber is a preference if done right can look great but to much can be overwhelming to some

The holes in the door can be fixed but would have to be covered on those portions of the door like a black leather cover stitched in with something else embroidered into the leather like LT1 or GM Performance, etc... whatever you like...
