Default How to pull tranny for clutch swap?

Maybe a dumb question but this is my first time swapping my clutch. I've take out all the bolts from tranny to bellhousing and it will pull out from the studs that line it up but it won't pull all the way out. Do I have to pull off that hidden nut for the clutch fork? I can see it where I pulled the slave out from but don't know if thats what comes off.

Ok but I can only get to that one where I removed the slave. Is that all I need to take off? I feel around and there is another on the other side of the fork that I won't be able to reach.

nevermind I got it. The fork actually will come loose if you pull it down and out it will release without having to unbolt it.

Another question now though. What are you using to hold everything from free spinning while you unbolt the pressure plate?

Do you mean to keep the flywheel from turning? I used to use a big screwdriver through one of the holes in the flyweel if it tries to turn. Now I just use an airgun though.

I don't.

Don't point the ratchet / breaker bar directly away from the crank centerline. Turn it 90deg from that; pull hard to get the bolt loose. To turn it down for access to the next bolt is when you point it away from the crank center.

Thanks guys. I got everything pulled and now I'm cleaning it all up. I'll post pics of the crap that was inside the tranny and bellhousing. No all I have to do is install motor mounts, reinstall new clutch, and ebay headers with a Borla behind it.
