Default Tired of feeling body roll everytime I turn a corner at high speeds..

Personl thing.. I often like to roll around a corner an then just gas out of it breaking the tires loose.. When I do it I sometimes feel a nasty body roll n the car that just makes it feel like the car is going to tip over lol.. I was told stiff shocks would solve this problem?

Handling 101. Lower your CG with progressive rate lowering springs, stiff sidewall wider tires, thicker swaybars, stiffer shocks, subframe connectors, strut tower bar, etc.

I'm running the older Bilstein HD's on stock springs, Strano front and rear sway bar, SLP subframe connectors, car feels great, I don't notice any body roll. Other suspension stuff I'm running is Spohn torque arm(UMI relocation mount), lcas and panhard but I don't know if any of that would really influence that.

Quality springs and shocks...larger sway bars or simply upgrade the endlinks & mounts to poly. Wider tires etc.

Screw the corvette...you need 35mm/25mm front/rear SOLID swaybars (with poly bushings) and some lowering springs....I put swaybars on my car recently and the difference is dramatic. No body roll whatsoever, it's like a 3400lb go-cart now I can take curves 5-10 MPH faster now. It makes my 99 Firehawk with level II SLP suspension feel like a soft *** Buick; if I try to do the same **** in it as my 94 Formula, body roll, screeching tires, scariness....not so with the big roll bars as you get a LOT more feedback from the road and eliminate body roll completely. It's definitely one of the most fun mods out there and underrated if you ask me. (They do weigh a good 20 lbs more than stock however).

Agreed on the swaybars, springs, shocks. The stock suspension setup is very soft actually and making these changes will make it feel like a different car.

i like the koni shocks with the hotchkis springs and brm sway bar kit, bmr subframe connectors and the bmr tunnel brace with strut tower brace, the strut tower brace stiffins the front very nice for carving corners.

Ah, so you can joke in someone's thread, but if you get joked on in your own it's not acceptable. Got it.

Thanks for the info bro. How much did you lower your car? I really didn't want to mess with the hight of the car due to the LT headers I'll b installing and due to the high rugged speedbumps around my city.. But if it's necessary to fix the body roll completely then I'm all for it.

I love my UMI sway bars, they are a matching set. Car handles great..

They are also solid where the factory ones are hollow.
