Default Dual fuel pumps?

I have a 396lt1 with walbro 255 in fuel cell and external a1000.Reading the plugs and smelling exhaust its running really rich.I have a n2o tune PCM and na tune PCM.when running na should I just use intank pump? I thought it didn't matter because I could adjust regulator but it's still a little rich.. Thx for the help in advance...

Maybe you're overpowering the regulator? Is it adjusted correctly?
You should only be using one pump N/A. Have the second pump activate when the nitrous is armed or activated. No sense in running 2 pumps all the time.

Well the system is ran with -10 out of cell into filter, then to a1000,-8 ran to rail with aeromotive adj reg.I'm running 42lb inj at about 48psi.So should I just be running the in-tank pump? Last year the car was only used for drag racing so I didn't have these problems now Its street driven.

Man....your fuel system is serious overkill. If the lines weren't so unnecessarily big, fuel flow and pressure wouldn't be a problem for running just the in-tank.

unless you are making over 1200 hp that a1000 is plenty..........i make well north of 600 NA and the A1000 with a -10 feed and -8 to the front of the car is more than enough to support me even up at 75psi

I agree it's overkill just didn't want to do it twice, very possible FI setup in near future.I have ran with just the in tank pump in the past, will go back to that 2moro and see what happens.I will rewire external pump for n2o use only.thx for the replies...
