Looking for a nice cold air intake
Im currently running some home made cold air intake, made out off some pipe, no different from 100+ dollar CAI, but now I want something to look nice, any one know one around 100 dollar range new or used one for sale ? thx

Not a big fan of lids on LT1 cars I take it? You cant argue with the gains of them, I didnt think it could be that much before I did it. After going from a SLP CAI to the Lid though it was well worth it. Pretty minor cutting of the car to me, and mines under a stock z hood. Its not like your cutting up a mint 69 z28 or something, not that big a deal...

not to hijack a thread...but I wouldn't mind some input.
I still have my ram air intake for my SS. I was wondering if i'd be better off going CAI over the stock SS ram air intake.
Also, am I better off doing the ls1 style intake vs CAI...if so, what needs to be done to fit it?

thats awesome work. I just don't think I'm will to cut up some of my car for what may be a few HP. I think I'm considering the CAI option though...I'm just not a big fan of my SS intake.

One bonus to not having a clean car, is the willingness to lop something off in the name of speed... Well at least in my case lol
